Abstract

The progress of the internet and the development of the internet are getting faster. In one hand, humans can explore the world quickly and know its development. One of those who felt it was the devout Muslim of Manba‟ul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School. In addition to their obligations as devout Muslims in promoting religious teachings, the students are also inseparable from the internet world. The devout Muslims need the internet to meet their daily needs. The internet has become a tool that must be fulfilled because students should also be updated with what is happening in the global era. The devout Muslim intense using internet and affects their level of financial management. This is where there are 2 supporting factors as well as 2 inhibiting factors for devout Muslims in using the internet to their financial management. The first supporting factor is that devout Muslims can take advantage of the internet to fulfill online learning tools during a pandemic. The second one is that the devout Muslims get updated information from the whole world. While the inhibiting factor is that the controlling of the parents of the devout Muslims needs to be done so that it does not cause excess in giving monthly money which can lead to consumptive behavior if it is excessive. The two influences on social media and online games are a diversion or side entertainment where the Manba'ul Hikmah Islamic boarding school supervisor is needed to oversee this.
