Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of hotels, the number of restaurants, the number of tourists and the number of attractions on employment in the Province of Bali in 2010-2018. This research includes quantitative research using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and the Bali Provincial Tourism Office The method used in this research is panel data regression (combination between time series and cross section). The population in this study were 9 districts registered with the Central Statistics Agency of Bali Province during the period 2010-2018. The analysis technique used panel data regression analysis of random effect models using EViews 9. The results showed that in the period 2010 to 2018 the variable number of hotels, the number of restaurants, the number of tourists and the number of attractions together had a significant and positive effect on employment in the Province of Bali. Value of determination coefficient obtained by 70,76%. Means that the independent variable is able to explain the dependent variable of 70,76% while the remining 29,24% is explained by the variable outside the model.
