Abstract

Textile commodity is one of Indonesia's main export commodities. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of exchange rate trends, inflation, world GDP per capita, and the global crisis to the value of Indonesian textile and textile product exports. The analytical model used is the ECM (Error Correction Model) which analyzes long-term and short-term economic phenomena using time series data from 1988-2018. The results of ECM (Error Correction Model) show that the simultaneously the variable of Exchange Rates, Inflation, World GDP per capita and Global Crisis have an affect on the Indonesia’s Textile Exports. The analysis shows that in the short term, the World GDP per capita variable are positive and significant impact textile exports, while the exchange rate, inflation and global crisis have no effect on textile exports. In the long term, the world GDP variable has a significant positive effect on exports, while the exchange rate, inflation and the global crisis have no effect on exports.
