Abstract

The aim of this research was to understand the relationship beetwen adjustment with tendency of academic stress. This research was conducted in the AlFalah Islamic Boarding School Jepara, in which 88 students respondents. The research use work the tendency of academic stress behaviour measurment consisted of 16 item (rx = 0,799) and adjustment measurment consisted of 18 item (rx = 0,746). The data which obtained through work tendency of academic stress scale, and the adjustment scale were analyzed statistic metodh with product moment analysis. Result of analyzed data obtained pearson correlation = -0.357 with p = 0.001 (p<0.05). As it showed that there was significant negative correlation between the adjustment and the tendency of academic stress. This means that the higher adjustment, the lower the tendency for academic stress. Conversely, the lower the adjustment, the higher the tendency for academic stress.
