Abstract

Poverty is an old problem that has occurred in Indonesia, currently the problem of poverty in Indonesia is still quite large, various policies that have been carried out by the government to overcome poverty are still not optimal, poverty in Probolinggo City is still relatively large in the East Java Province. This can be caused by poor zakat distribution. The city of Probolinggo, where the majority of the population is Muslim, still experiences poverty. This study aims to determine the effect of zakat, unemployment, gross regional domestic product (PDRB) on poverty in the City of Probolinggo. This type of research is quantitative, The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with time series data which is processed using e-views 10. The results showed that zakat and unemployment had a negative and insignificant effect on poverty, meanwhile, the GRDP variable showed a positive and significant effect.
