Abstract

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy is a method in chemistry that can identify molecular structures using the aid of devices that produce an electromagnetic wave. These waves produce a mathematical number so that the identification process can be done. The purpose of this research is to develop applications that can accelerate the identification process that was previously carried out by an expert. The development process is done by approaching Extreme Programming. This method was chosen because it tends to be more flexible to changes and does not require a lot of team members. The result of this research is an application that can make the process of identifying molecular structures more quickly and efficiently. Based on the results of testing the application functionality with a percentage of 96.67% answered functioning properly and 3.33% answered no and the usability testing of applications which resulted in a very agreeable percentage of 56%, agreeing at 28%, and the remaining 16% is in the condition of not agreeing of the total response.
