Abstract
This research aimed to design and create a water turbidity detection system that can be accessed remotely. This detection system was made using severval main components namely LED, photodiodes, NodeMCU microcontroller and Blynk application. This research was conducted in three stages. The first stage was the design of a drinking water turbidity detection system using Solidwork software. The second stage was developing a drinking water turbidity detection system by connecting the tool and material needed to become a system. The third stage was making training sample, taking data and processing data. The results showed that the drinking water turbidity detection system was successfully designed and created using LED, photodiode and a NodeMCU microcontroller. The results of water turbidity can be seen through the Blynk application on a smartphone. In addition to the turbidity value, Blynk also displays “Safe” and “Unsafe” status.
