Abstract

This study aims to determinate the relationship between gratitude and resilience in salak pondoh farmers in Wonosari Bangunkerto Village Turi District Sleman Regency Yogyakarta. Subjects in this study were 73 salak pondoh farmers in Wonosari. The sampling technique in this study usig purposive sampling. The method collecting data in this study was using a gratitude scale from Al Munajjid (2006) and a scale resilience from Connor and Davidson (2003). Data analysis was perfomed using Spearman Rho. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between gratitude and resilience. This is indicated by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,338 and p = 0,003. So, the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The effective contribution og gratitude to farmer resilience is 11% which is shown by the square of 0,110.
