Abstract
Rapid and sustainable economic growth is an important foundation for the economic development sustainability. The purpose of this research is to examine direcly effect variables financial performance and government investment on economic growth in DIY. This was a quantitative study. The data were secondary data from five regional in Yogyakarta in the period 2009-2019 obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The data were time series, analysis using regression model prosesed by SPSS 23. The result of the study showed that : 1) Financial performance used effectiveness ratio have‟nt effect on economic growth in Yogyakarta with a significance value of 0.910. 2) Financial performance used efficiency ratio have‟nt effect on economic growth in Yogyakarta with a significance value of 0.236 3) Goverment investment have negative effect on economics growth in Yogyakarta with a significance value of 0.005. 4) The value of Adjusted R square in the study was 0.636 indicating that the value of the contributions of all independent variabels to dependent variable was 63,6%.
