Abstract

Plywood is one of the products that is widely consumed throughout the world, so it has a big influence on the export value of Indonesia. In 2018 Indonesia ranks first as the largest plywood exporting country in the world. The purpose of this study was to see how much influence the plywood production, gross domestic product, plywood price, and population on the export of Indonesian plywood commodity to the largest importing trading partner country. In addition, there are also variables of plywood production, gross domestic product, plywood price, and population. The research method used is the panel data regression analysis method with a random effect model estimation using panel data from the 10 largest importing countries from 2005 to 2018. The results show that simultaneously or together all variables have a significant effect on the export value of Indonesian plywood. While partially plywood production, plywood price, and population have a significant effect. Meanwhile, the gross domestic product variables has no significant effect.
