Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as proxied by the number of the Board of Commissioners, the Board of Directors, the Audit Committee, DPS and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on financial performance proxied by ROA on five Sharia Business Entities (BUS) with assets. the largest registered with OJK Indonesia. This study analyzes the influence from 2015 – 2019. The technique used in sample collection is purposive sampling, which is a method of collecting data using special criteria from researchers, in order to obtain five BUS with the largest assets in Indonesia. The data is processed with Multiple Linear Regression using panel data obtained from financial reports and company annual reports. The results of statistical tests show that the variable of the Board of Commissioners has a significant effect, the Board of Directors has no significant effect, the Audit Committee has no significant effect, SSB does not have a significant effect and CSR does not have a significant effect on ROA, namely financial performance.
