Abstract

This research aimed to find out determinant of firm value listed in Jakarta Islamic Index in the period of 2016-2019. Independent variables used in this research are profitability proxied by Return on Equity Ratio (ROE), solvability proxied by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), liquidity proxied by Current Ratio (CR), and activity proxied by Total Assets Turnover Ratio (TATO). For dependent variable used is firm value proxied by Tobin Q. Sample in this research comprised 14 companies listed successively in Jakarta Islamic Index in the period of 2016-2019. Data analysis technique being used are data panel regression using STATA 13 software program. The results of the research showed that profitability had positive influence on firm value, whereas solvability, liquidity, and activity had no influence on firm value. As for profitability, solvability, liquidity, and activity had significant influence on firm value simultaneously with a determination coefficient of 58,44%.
