Abstract

ASEAN is a regional organization's aim to improve the welfare of its members by fostering economic integration in Southeast Asia. The issue is that the suggested strategies have not been effective in achieving economic growth and thus creating a stable life. The analysis Arellano Bond Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) used in this study, it uses STATA to prosses the secondary data. Once the dependent variable lag can be used as a independent variable, the dynamic panel model has the advantage of being able to overcome endogeneity problems. GMM is used to solve the problem of autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity, results to consistent and unbiased estimation results. Variable human capital, as a result, has a negative and significant effect on short term economic growth. However, the effect is greater in the long term. Meanwhile, technology has a greater influence on short term economic growth than on the long term economic growth.
