Abstract

According to Statistical Center department of Sleman Regency, Turi District is the largest producer of thorny palm in Sleman Regency, D.I Yogyakarta. The location is very strategic for salak farmers, because the location is on the slopes of the mountains so it is very suitable for producing barking farming. According to bark thsi fact, this research is aimed to analyse influencing of the production factors at Turi district Sleman regency Independen Variable that used in this research are widw of farm; pollination; labor, and pruning. Data in this research was used primary and secondary. Method of data collecting was used interview and documentation. DataProcessing done by using of Eviews 10 programme. Method used the Ordinary Least Square (OLS), constituted regression model that produced Best Linear Unbias Estimator (BLUES). The results of this research showed that the variables of land area, pollination, labor, and pruning had a significant effect on thorny palm production. Result of F-test showed that as a simoultaneusly, independent variable in concomitantly may showed its influence starfruit produce. The R2 value as by 0,8175 had means that 81,75 percent produce the explainable thorny palm by variable wide of farm, amount of tree, Amount of manure, usage of pesticide and manpower usage. While the remainder, that is by 18,25 percent was explained by external causes
