Abstract

In recent years, nickel exports have been able to rank second after tin in state revenue from the mineral and coal mining sector, In this case nickel is one of the minerals contribute to state revenue, but in the end of 2020 the government will stop nickel exports. This study intends to look at volume of nickel exports to other countries in 4 years earlier, the independent variables used are production, prices, exchange rates, and inflation. This study uses monthly timeseries data from 2016-2019 and quantitative, the data used in this study is secondary data with 48 samples and uses Error Correction Model (ECM) as a method of analysis, intends to describe the long term and short term effects of the independent variables. The results of this research is in the long term production and exchange rate variables have a significant effect, while in the short term only inflation variable has a significant effect to volume nickel exports.
