Abstract
Indonesia is one of the developing countries which must be increasingly active in carrying out development so that it can continue to develop and not be left behind with other countries. Economic growth is an important indicator in measuring the success of economic development in a country. In the national and regional development process, infrastructure development is a very important aspect. Infrastructure has an important role in driving the wheels of economic growth. To encourage economic growth, the government's efforts are to provide infrastructure facilities in various sectors so that the economy continues to improve and provide a more targeted framework to attract investors and private participation on a measurable scale in infrastructure projects. This study aims to determine development factors. infrastructure towards economic growth in North Sumatra. The variables used are roads, electricity and water with a panel data regression model in 2009-2018. The results showed that the road infrastructure variable did not have a significant effect on GRDP in North Sumatra. The electricity infrastructure variable has a significant positive effect on GRDP in North Sumatra. And the water infrastructure variable has a significant negative effect on PBRB in North Sumatra.
