Abstract

Nu-an textbooks under the Ma'arif NU Educational Institute and Muhammadiyahan textbooks under the Muhammadiyahan Educational Institute have a great contribution and influence on the mindset and behavior of students, especially at the elementary education level. Because both books are the content of the material focuses and focuses on the history and struggle by the characters, namely the role and contribution in the nation and state. In addition, there is also the practice of Nahdliyin citizens in nu-an textbooks and muhammadiyah practices in Muhammadiyahan textbooks. Therefore, the content and urain of textbook material is very important to be researched about national values in it. First, explore the national values in the textbooks of peculiarities, namely nu-an and Muhammadiyahan subjects. Second, to compile the national values contained in the textbooks of nu-an and Muhammadiyahan class V elementary school level. This research is a type of library research (library reserch) that is qualitativedescriptive. the approach used in this study uses a comparative approach. The research method used to analyze the data is descriptive-content analysis method. And for the collection of data using documentation methods. The results of this study showed that in general both textbooks already contain the equation of national values in the content of the material description. 1) The national values that are protected in the Nu-nudity textbooks include religion, honesty, tolerance, democracy, national spirit, love of the country, respect for achievement, social care, and responsibility. In the context of student learning, the national values taught by teachers are adjusted to the understanding of Ahlussunnah wal jawama'ah which aims to realize the community attitude of the people from social, cultural, economic, and political aspects. 2) National values contained in the muhammadiyahan textbooks include, religious, hard work, creative, curiosity, national spirit, love of the country, respect for achievements, social care, and responsibility. In the context of learning students are intended as a process of internalizing the understanding of Muhammadiyahan which is full of national values based on the basic principles of scouting HW and Muhammadiyah figures. 3) Comparative analysis conducted by researchers on two textbooks between Nu-an and Muhammadiyahan found similarities; religious, nationality, love of the motherland, respect for achievements, social care, and responsibility. The differences in nu-an are honest, tolerant, and democratic, while in Muhammadiyahan in the form of hard work, creative, and curiosity. Researchers found similarities in the aspect of the image features of the two shown at each beginning of the chapter before the exposure of material accompanied by the logos of the organization and its characters. In the rubrication aspects contained in both books, shows a very prominent difference such as the Muhammadiyahan textbook can be said to be more complete because it is contained in the learning concept map, KI-KD, and learning indicators. Whereas in the textbooks the NU-an only lists the evaluation of learning in the form of practice questions only.
