Abstract

The background of this research is that human education aims to restore the function of education it self, namenly to humanize human according to their physycal and mental nature. The Indonesia national education polyce cerries the concept of merdeka belajar by the minister of education nature Nadiem Anwar Makarim. The need foe humanist values to be held fermly as the basic form policy, so the policies to abel are realize human need and are the abel and to courage the humanits education practise. The emergency corona virus disaese (Covid-19) global pandemic case hase forced the word of education to immplement a dictancing learning system (PJJ). The police of merdeka belajar was in placebefore pandemi global in Indonesia. Then, how can online learning provide freedom to learning in the emergency covid-19. This study aims to reveal the concept of humanism in national education policy RI “merdeka belajar” and reveals the concept of merdeka belajar amid Covid-19 online learning. This type of research is library research. The data source of this research is paper and people. The data collection methods used were observation of document contents and unstructured interviews. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. Then, checking the validity of the data used the reference. The results of this study include: 1) The concept of humanism in the policy of Merdeka Belajar Nadiem are humans are complete creatures, humans are intelligent creatures, humans have the motivation to learn, every humans being has uniqueness, education is a human right, teachers are learning facilitator. 2) the concept merdeka belajar in Covid-19 online learning are humanist online learning, democratic online learning, problem-based online learning, and teachers as online learning facilitator.
