Abstract

This research aims to (1) Produce physics module based on subject fluid statics theory based on Science Process Skill (SPS) through the steps of Integrated Science Process Skill and guidelines of writing module by Department of National Education in 2008 (2) Obtaining the quality of physics module based on Science Process Skill (SPS) on subject fluid statics theory. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) which is done by referring to the procedural model. This development research procedure is based on the 4-D model development research procedure developed by Thiagarajan with 4 stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research is only limited to Develop stage which are the assessment from physics expert, graphic expert, and physics teacher. This research instruments are product validation sheet, quality assessment sheet, and student response questionnaire sheet. The quality assessment uses likert 4 scale in the form of checklist, and student response questionnaire uses Guttman scale in the form of checklist too. The result of this research is (1) Physics module based on Science Process Skill (SPS) on subject fluid statics theory for XI grade of senior high school (2) The quality of this module based on physics expert, graphic expert, and physics teacher is good with average score 3,25; 3,25; and 3,85.
