Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the process of implementing and improving the quality of education will be a challenge for school principals and components of PAUD institutional units. The learning system is much different from usual and the quality of early childhood education in the village where the researcher lives is not maximized is the main reason for this research. This research is a type of contextual investigation. The subjects in this study were principals, teachers, parents/guardians of students and the surrounding community. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. In addition, the validity of the information obtained will be tested using source triangulation techniques. The results of the Balanced Scorecard research in improving the quality of education in the Pembina Nasal State Kindergarten show that (1) the use of Balanced Scorecard management to analyze quality improvement during the covid-19 pandemic at the Pembina Nasal State Kindergarten is because, the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard have covered all aspects of the institution. education. (2) The strategy used by the school principal in improving the quality of education during the covid-19 pandemic is through communication and coordination strategies, as well as sifting strategies. (3) Analysis of balanced scorecard management includes a. Financial perspective. From a financial perspective, the National TK Pembina Nasal manages the BOP fund policy to support activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. b. Customer perspective. During the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers and school principals have created a very flexible learning system so that parents can adjust their time in assisting their children's learning. c. Internal business perspective. Evaluating the process of academic services and administrative services. d. Growth and learning perspective. Improving teacher competence by involving teachers in webinar activities and making improvements to programs that have not been optimally implemented.
