Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of reference literature on Inclusive Education Management. In addition to being minimal, the existing literature references are also not fully implemented in the field. Institutions implementing Inclusive Education Management often have to make certain adjustments when facing difficulties in its implementation. This study aims to slightly contribute to the Inclusive Education Management stakeholders by implementing the Inclusive Education Management policy at SD INTIS School Yogyakarta and analyze the basis of the formulation and provide positive and negative support. This research includes field research with a qualitative research model. The qualitative approach used in this research is phenomenological. The focus of this research is to find out how policies are based on Inclusive Education Management in SD INTIS School Yogyakarta, as well as their positive and negative supports. These matters are analyzed by analyzing the Pedoman Umum Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Inklusif published by Direktorat PPK-LK Pendidikan Dasar Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. The results of this study are: 1) Inclusive Education Management-based policies in SD INTIS School Yogyakarta are in accordance with the Pedoman Umum Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan Inklusif published by Direktorat PPK-LK Pendidikan Dasar Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan; 2) the basis for policy formulation is the evaluation of the implementation of the inclusion program; 3) the presence of positive and negative; (a) positive: implementation of the institution's core values, building stakeholder commitment, increasing support from the Education Office, and starting to open the community to inclusive education (b) negative: high operational costs, negative public perception, conflict with several government regulations, and difficulty in fulfilling human recouces.
