Abstract

Along with the vision 2030, a vision initiated by the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, which is the basis for Saudi transformation to become a country that is no longer highly dependent on oil has three important pillars in it, namely, a Vibrant Society, Thriving Economy, and An Ambition. Nation, a vibrant society to increase the capacity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in welcoming Umrah (congregation) visitors from 8 million to 30 million every year. In order to make optimal use of this great opportunity, the Indonesian government is taking advantage of the existing market place platform in Indonesia (which already holds the title of a unicorn), namely Tokopedia to be part of the digitization of Umrah. This research was conducted to discuss the following main problems, the mechanism for digitizing Umrah by Tokopedia, the view of Islamic / sharia law regarding the digitization of Umrah by Tokopedia, the negative and positive impacts related to the digitization of Umrah in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to determine the mechanism for digitizing the implementation of Umrah pilgrimage trips by Tokopedia in Indonesia, the view of Islamic / sharia law regarding the digitization of Umrah by Tokopedia, and to determine the positive and negative impacts of digitizing Umrah by Tokopedia. This research focuses on library research (library research) or text study, including the type of qualitative research. Data analysis carried out in this study begins with reading, studying, analyzing then describing it in coherent writing. An overview is given in order to obtain clarity when providing, presenting, and concluding data, so that the qualitative descriptive analysis method is used by researchers, which is a research analysis intended to describe a certain situation that is factual in a systematic and accurate manner. Otained, the mechanism for digitizing the umrah that is being carried out, Tokopedia is not the organizer of the Umrah / PPIU pilgrimage, only as a platform for selling Umrah packages. The view of Islamic / sharia law regarding the digitization of Umrah, Tokopedia Salam in the transaction process uses the salam contract, because the payment process is carried out in advance while the items purchased are delivered at a later date, according to what has been agreed. The installments offered by Tokopedia are installments without usury. The negative impact that is of concern is disharmony between the PPIU and the Tokopedia unicorn. The positive impact is renewal from the offline realm to the digital realm. Tokopedia provides installments without usury. Digitalization certainly makes it easier for people to carry out the Umrah pilgrimage, without having to have trouble finding Umrah organizers who are truly trustworthy. The price options for Umrah packages offered at Tokopedia Salam are very diverse and can be adjusted according to your budget. Umrah travel agency partners in collaboration with Tokopedia Salam are trusted travel agencies whose company deeds have been registered at the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, so that Tokopedia can be certain that fraud will not occur. There is a dream Umrah savings fund feature available on Tokopedia Salam to facilitate Umrah travel plans for the next few years.
