Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the psychosocial safety climate (PSC) and the dimensions of job crafting (JC) at the Police in Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative with 2 measuring scales, namely the JC scale and the PSC scale. The research was conducted at Polres Kulon Progo, Polres Bantul, Polres Sleman with 218 participants. Quantitative analysis uses simple regression analysis. The results showed the significant value of each dimension (p = 0.000) (p <0.05). The coefficient value of PSC with the behavior of increasing structural resources is (ß = 0.754), the coefficient value of the PSC with the behavior of increasing social resources is (ß = 0.781), the PSC with the behavior of increasing challenging demands is (ß = 0.713). The results of this study indicate that the three hypotheses are accepted, where there is a positive relationship between the PSC and the three JC dimensions. Meanwhile, for the relationship between PSC and the last dimension of JC, namely decreasing hindering job demands, inhibiting rejection, because the coefficient value is not negative (ß = 0.739)
