Abstract

The background of this research problem is learning achievement is important for students to know the extent to which they understand the material that has been studied. The factors that influence the background include parenting styles, learning motivation and student learning styles. As parents, they must be able to apply proper parenting to their children so that children grow and have a good personality so that children have the drive to carry out all activities, especially in learning fiqh subjects and can learn in a way that they consider easier to learn things in their own way so that later it will have an impact on the achievement of fiqh subjects that he gets. The objectives of this study are (1) For testing empirically the relationship between parenting style and students achievement in learning fiqh. (2) Empirically, for testing the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement. (3) Empirically, for testing the relationship between students learning styles and students achievement. (4) To test empirically the relationship between parenting style, motivation, and student learning styles together with student achievement. The research method uses quantitative research with a correlation research type. The data collection method uses questionnaires, interviews, and documentations. The subjects in this study were class XI MAN 2 Kulon Progo. Then, the data analysis technique uses product-moment correlations and multiple correlations. The results of this study are (1) There are a positive and very significant relationship between parenting style and student learning achievement in Islamic Civilization History (rX1 y = 0,772, p = 0,000 < 0,05). 2) There are a positive and very significant relationship between student learning motivation and student learning achievement of Fiqh as indicated by (rx2 y = 0,570, p = 0,000 < 0,05). (3) There are a positive and very significant relationship between student learning styles and student learning achievement of Fiqh as indicated by (rx2 y = 0,457, p = 0,000 < 0,05). 4) There are a positive and very significant relationship between democratic parenting, student learning motivation, and student learning style with student Fiqh learning achievement as indicated by (R= 0,789, p = 0,000 < 0,05) dan F count > F table that is 72,203 > 2,70.
