Abstract

Based on field observations there is a critical of machine from the packing process of large packaging of atomic beans PT DEX which often experiences losses. It is necessary to analyze the effectiveness using the measurement of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) as a method of measuring the application of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system. This study aims to obtain a proposed strategy to increase OEE using the Failure Mode Effect and Analytic (FMEA) and Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) methods. Based on data processing from 1 May - 6 October 2020, the average OEE level was 51.2%. The low level of OEE was caused by the most dominant losses, namely minor stop indling with an average of 46.72%. Losses which are most dominant in the analysis using fishbone diagrams and FMEA, so that 4 alternative strategies are selected, namely: increasing machine maintenance regularly, optimizing production planning and control, manajemen coordination and communication at the production site properly, manajemen commitment to quality. The four alternatives are the main ingredients in determining the strategy for increasing OEE using FAHP. The increase in planning optimization and production control with a weight of 26,8% was chosen as the main priority in the strategy of increasing OEE using FMEA and FAHP.
