Abstract

The 2013 Curriculum Policy provides attention to the learning process and items that have Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) degrees to students. HOTS function is very representative to provide logical, reflective, critical, creative and metacognitive abilities which are higher order thinking skills. This study aims to determine the HOTS-based learning planning program at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur Yogyakarta 2018/2019 academic year, the HOTS-based learning implementation program at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur Yogyakarta in the 2018/2019 academic year and HOTS-based learning evaluation program at MI. At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur Yogyakarta academic year 2018/2019. This research was conducted at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur Yogyakarta Special Region by using a descriptive qualitative research type. The data were analyzed by describing or describing the data according to the principles of descriptive qualitative research by collecting data from observations, interviews and documentation. In determining the subject, researchers used a non probability sample. In this study, the resource persons were the homeroom teacher and grade VI students at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur as resource persons related to learning programs which included planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Data were analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data were also verified using the validity of the source triangulation, technical triangulation and discussion among researchers. The results of this study are: (1) HOTS learning planning program at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur 2018/2019 academic year the teacher carries out lesson planning using HOTS-based syllabus and lesson plans (2) HOTS learning implementation program at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur the 2018/2019 academic year the teacher has used variations in determining HOTS-based methods such as discussion, question and answer and the ability to argue students in science learning with the theme one about saving living things and one sub-theme regarding my friend's plants, where the core activity discusses the process generative propagation of plants. (3) The HOTS learning evaluation program at MI At-Taqwa GUPPI Wojowalur 2018/2019 academic year the teacher carries out the learning by giving question items and discussing the grid before the USBN regarding the HOTS abilities of students from the books that have been prepared.
