Abstract

This research started from the always high divorce case rate and also the rise of premarital guidance that began to be echoed through online studies. It seems to be in great demand by many circles, especially the study of online prenuptial classes organized by the Nikah Institute. The use of an integrated scientific interdisciplinary approach is an interest by many people who have reached the minimum age of marriage. There is academic anxiety for researchers about the content and source of materials provided by Nikah Institute to participants of online premarital studies at Nikah Institute, what factors are behind the establishment of premarital studies programs at Nikah Institute, and further analyze the strengthening of family law understanding in the study. The approach used in this study is the sociological approach of law. The theory chosen by researchers as an analytical knife, namely the theory of symbolic interactionism. This theory is able to help in the process of analyzing this research by positioning Nikah Institute as an actor, then the object of the target to the participants and ideas initiated by the Team Of Nikah Institute. The primary data obtained in the study came from interviews with the director of nikah institute, speakers in the field of fiqh of marriage and family law, and participants of premarital class studies. While secondary data is obtained through the literature of studies and research around premarital guidance and strengthening the understanding of relevant family law. This study presents some important findings. First, the prenuptial study at Nikah Institute presents 2 classes in the form of Preparing Together class and Minimal Drama Wedding class (PMD) with diverse materials including relevant reference sources and delivered by presenters from educational backgrounds who are quite experts in their fields. Second, the Establishment of Nikah Institute is motivated by the personal desire of Muslims who are agitated by the phenomenon of marriage conflict in Indonesia that diverse and social knowledge of marriage in social media applications instagram, especially the emergence of the community "Direct Marriage." This shows the excitement of civil soecity participation and ordinary people to contribute to the development of understanding of Islamic family law in Indonesia and also shows the lack of success of programs offered by the government to build families. Third, the Prenuptial Study at Nikah Institute had a very strong impact on the understanding of the participants who were influenced by the way the material was delivered in a significant class. Participants' interest in following is due to the participants' awareness of the lack of legal knowledge, family support, and the role of the Nikah Institute team that plays an active role in promoting facilities that can be utilized by the community during and after attending online prenuptial study classes at Nikah Institute.
