Abstract

Nowadays, there are many schools using the full day school system that are implemented in Indonesian Islamic Elementary Schools. The full day school system is also in great demand. The reason that usually arises is because the time to study at school is longer. This concept is considered capable of developing the spiritual and scientific abilities of students more precisely so that it can improve children's abilities, because in reality the application of the spiritual intelligence abilities of children in this country is still not optimal. This study aims to describe (1) a model for developing spiritual intelligence through the full day school system at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen (2) the strategy for developing spiritual intelligence through a full day school system at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen (3) the implications of models and strategies in developing spiritual intelligence. through the full day school system at Muhammadiyah elementary school, Kebumen. This research uses a qualitative approach. data collection method is done by interview, documentation and observation. Technical data analysis is carried out through the individual site stage and cross-case and uses an interactive analysis model which includes 4 components, namely, collecting data on data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that. (1) The values developed to build spiritual intelligence at SD Muh Kebumen are as follows: Inculcating the values of love and affection, instilling self-confidence, applying the values of justice, values of independence, applying the values of honesty , Application of the values of generosity, Inculcating values in the aspects of patience and gratitude, instilling the values of cleanliness are part of faith. (2) The strategy of developing students' spiritual intelligence through the full day school system at SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen is as follows: Through the process of assigning tasks, through nurture, through knowledge, through creativity, through brotherhood, through leadership. (3) The impact of the spiritual intelligence of SD Muh Kebumen students on their behavior At Muhammadiyah Elementary School Kebumen as follows: students in school and at home are more religious, have a tolerant attitude towards fellow human beings, Students of SD Muhammadiyah Kebumen always refrain from violating laws that have been implemented in schools, students have a very high sense of love for the school environment, honesty is a trait that is instilled in students to make children have good personalities and morals, always grateful for the blessings that Allah gives, have have a trustworthy nature and always be responsible, anti-violence, have thrifty behavior, have an attitude of generosity, are creative and innovative, are friendly and are easy to socialize in a new environment.
