Abstract

This research is entitled Digital Learning Model in Islamic Religious Education Learning During the Pandemic Period (Case Study at SMP 1 Jepara). This research is motivated by the fact that a pandemic is an extraordinary event that creates massive changes in all fields including education. As a result, face-to-face classes are not allowed, so learning is done online from home. These rules ultimately force all educational institutions to prepare themselves to adapt to the learning system, especially in distance learning which requires the use of technology from both educators and students. The implementation is certainly not easy unless it has been well prepared. Therefore, this research case study is at SMPN 1 Jepara. Apart from being one of the best schools in Jepara with many achievements, it also has complete infrastructure. This study aims to: 1) Analyze the planning process for implementing Digital Learning in Islamic Religious Education learning during the pandemic period of case studies at SMP N 1 Jepara 2) Analyze problems in implementing Digital Learning in Islamic Religious Education learning during the pandemic period of case studies at SMP N 1 Jepara 3) Analyze the results of student understanding after implementing Digital Learning in learning Islamic Religious Education during the pandemic period of case studies at SMP N 1 Jepara. This research uses the type of field research (Field Research), and the approach used is descriptive qualitative analysis, which is one of the research methods that aim to gain an understanding of reality with an inductive thinking process. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The flow of a series of planning for the implementation of Digital Learning in Islamic Religious Education during the pandemic period of case studies at SMPN 1 Jepara, namely starting with the selection of the Digital Learning model, selecting media, socialization, preparation of planning documents, preparation for learning, implementation of learning, and evaluation. The entire flow of the planning series has been carried out very well because each flow has been carefully arranged; (2) The problems that occurred in the implementation of Digital Learning in Islamic Religious Education during the pandemic period of the case study at SMPN 1 Jepara were that students did not have smartphones, limited quota, unstable networks, and decreased student interest. Meanwhile, the efforts made in overcoming the problem include schools lending smartphones, distributing quotas, distributing cards with providers with strong networks, and home visits; (3) Student learning outcomes in Digital Learning in Islamic Religious Education learning during the pandemic period of case studies at SMPN 1 Jepara experienced a decrease in both cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects than digital learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education learning during normal times.
