Abstract

The development of digital technology is an advancement in building human civilization. The emergence of the virtual world or social media is the new lifestyle in disseminating knowledge and a variety of life insight. Youtube is a social media platform popular among social media users. Youtube is becoming the new media in the dissemination of the teachings of Islam. The content in youtube is pretty much filled by the preacher, who is disseminating the teachings of Islam so that youtube users could directly take knowledge from watching youtube. One of the youtube channel is Al-Bahjah TV with a subscriber reached 3.26 million that belongs to the category of popular. The content in this channel discusses Islamic studies. The study in this channel not only to users of the online course because the study carried out directly in the assembly ta'lim which was attended by pilgrims to the public. The speaker is the primary Buya Yahya. Researchers will examine the contents of the content in the channel, especially at the playlist “Buya Yahya Menjawab” because it is a question and answer session of the congregation of the good that is present directly in the assembly ta'lim or following from home by sending questions. Researchers will focus on the content of the study of Islamic law related to the issue of the verse, which is questionable society. It is to analyze the product and related laws, the provisions of the women on the view according to Buya Yahya, and to analyze the pattern of thought of Islamic law which was delivered Buya Yahya video channel Al-Bahjah TV. It is important to be analyzed because Buya Yahya including some religious figures that are used as guidelines by the community in the running of the guidance of the teachings of Islam. This research is a legal research and literature study. The nature of this research is descriptive – analysis because it describes the analysis of Islamic legal thought in youtube content. The approach used is a normative approach. The theoretical framework used to analyze is the thought of Abdullah Saeed related to the method of interpretation. The provisions of the verse, and ihdad in the jurisprudence and legislation in Indonesia. The results of this study are 1) to the explanation given Buya Yahya on channel Al-Bahjah TV about the conditions of women in the period of iddah in accordance with the explanation in the literature of Islamic law (fiqh). So also with the provisions of laws and regulations in Indonesia. This suggests that in answering the problem in the community related to the law of Islam Buya Yahya took the view that careful and not get out of the opinion of the majority of scholars, especially the priest of the four schools of thought. 2) the Pattern of thought of Islamic law Buya Yahya on channel Al-Bahjah TV in particular video playlist “Buya Yahya Menjawab” about the conditions of women in the period of iddah, if deemed by the method of interpretation Abdullah Saeed belongs to the category of semi textualist. This is because the absence of the results of the product of ijtihad new more flexible to meet the needs of more widespread in the modern era.
