Abstract

The development of television broadcasting in Indonesia has now entered the digital broadcasting system which is scheduled to be completed in 2022. The Islamic light broadcast program has been using a digital broadcasting system since 2020. One of the uniqueness of the cahaya islami digital program is that it is able to determine broadcast content according to the latest issues or phenomena. packaged according to the islamic view. This phenomenon is interesting to study in order to describe how broadcast management efforts in improving the quality of digital-based broadcast content in the program cahaya islami. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, and documentation. And the theory used in this study is McLuhan's media ecology theory which views that audiences participate actively in the formation of human perceptions that affect communication through technology. As a result, researchers found that the broadcasting management of cahaya islami TV broadcasting programs has made efforts to improve the quality of digitalbased content, by implementing the four management functions of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling, as well as optimally organizing. However, this has not been able to fully improve the quality of digital-based broadcast content. The limited number of employees, and the digital broadcasting equipment owned by cahaya islami has hampered the improvement of the quality of digital-based content. Although, cahaya islami digital content has followed national and international development issues.
