Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of forensic communication in the investigation of criminal acts of corruption (a qualitative descriptive on corruption cases in Tegalrejo Village, Bangka Tengah Regency, Bangka Belitung). Communication efforts and each message delivery process have material that the forensic branch can review. Communication has an important role for the auditors of the Inspectorate regarding corruption cases when conducting interviews. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, while the main data in this study are transcriptsor interviews. In addition, the data collection in this study were interviews and documentation. This study describes the process of investigating corruption cases conducted by the Regional Government Inspectorate of Bangka Tengah Regency. From the findings of evidence by experts, which can help uncover fraud stemming from corruption. The results of the application of communication forensic carried out by theRegional Inspectorate of Bangka Tengah Regency proved effective with the triangular meaning theory approach proposed by Charles Sanders Peirce in everycommunication process of investigators and investigations, there are three important components consisting of: signs, objects, and interpretants. Where is theapplication of the evidence system, on forensic communication and how the expertor investigative team provides the definition of evidence. The auditor provides a definition by first defining the meaning of an evidence.
