Abstract

A company's endeavor to create positive ties with the community is known as corporate social responsibility. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a societal mechanism for allocating assets given to Allah SWT to those who are more deserving of them. Article 74 of the Law No. 40 of 2007 respecting Limited Liability Companies regulates corporate social responsibility. Natural resource processing companies are one of society's most important economic actors. The backdrop of the founding of PT. Ivo Mas Tunggal, a company that is rising in natural resource management and is located in the center of the Sakai indigenous population that has lost their livelihood, is the problem raised in this research. As a result, the Sakai indigenous people must be nurtured by the firm. The objective of this study is on PT Ivo Mas Tunggal's corporate social responsibility to the Sakai indigenous people in the years 2018-2020, as well as a review of the maṣlaḥah on PT Ivo Mas Tunggal's corporate social responsibility program. This is a field study using qualitative research methodologies. The method of data analysis performed is descriptive analysis. Interviews and observation are used to acquire data. According to the findings, PT. Ivo Mas Tunggal, through the Sakai Mandiri Foundation and Putri Sakai Mandiri, gives guidance to the indigenous Sakai population. Economic help for the Sakai indigenous people, educational facility assistance, religious and social assistance, infrastructure assistance, and job opportunity assistance are all examples of corporate social responsibility program assistance. PT. Ivo Mas Tunggal for the Sakai indigenous people has complied with Article 74 paragraphs 1-4 of Law No. 40 of 2007 dated August 16, 2007 respecting Limited Liability Companies. PT. Ivo Mas Tunggal in terms of maṣlaḥah, is one of the benefits of al-ḥājiyāt which occupies the position of aḍ-ḍarūriyyāt. The implementation of corporate social responsibility has been able to realize the maintenance of five basic principles (al-maṣālih al-khamsah) and has fulfilled several elements of justice, al-Iḥsāni (doing good), benefits and trust
