Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the case of the decline in the rupiah exchange rate against the United States currency in 2015 which has harmed the real sector of Indonesia, especially the industrial sector and the inconsistency of the results of previous studies. This study focuses on the value of the company which is reflected by the stock price as a measure of the level of success of a company. Firm value can be seen from financial leverage, size, asset structure and corporate governance. The analytical technique used is multiple regression analysis by the SPSS software version 24. The sample used is a manufacturing company listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for the 2015-2019 period with purposive sampling method. The results of this study indicate that financial leverage, size, asset structure and corporate governance have a positive and significant effect simultaneously on firm value as proxied by Price to Book Value. This study also found that each variable has a positive and significant effect on firm value.
