Abstract
Kemplang is a processed food industry that has an influence on improving the regional economy in South Sumatra. The Kemplang micro-industrial center in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency has a strategic location and involvement in this business is in great demand by the community. Kemplang cracker business is also one of the businesses chosen by most of the people in the area. So that workers such as housewives participate in the micro kemlpang industry. This study aims to analyze the level of efficiency and the effect of the use of production factors on the Kemplang micro industry in Cengal Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The data used are primary data by filling out questionnaires to respondents. The analytical tool used is Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) and multiple linear regression analysis with the help of Software Frontier 4.1 and Eviews 10. The total population of craftsmen is 150 people and 60 samples are taken. The results of this study indicate that the use of kemplang production factors in Cengal Village has not reached the level of efficiency. Simultaneously. Production factors (capital, raw materials, firewood, labor) have a significant effect on kemplang production results, while partially capital and firewood variables have no significant effect on production results, raw materials and labor variables have a significant positive effect on production results.
