Abstract

Subjective well-being is the happiness that a person get through affective and cognitive evaluations of his or her life. This study aimed to understand the correlation between social support and hardiness on subjective well-being among the undergraduate in the Pandemic Era. The sample of this study are 100 undergraduate of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University. This study uses quantitative as the method of research. The measurements are made using the subjective well-being scale (rxy = 0.911), social support scale (rxy = 0.886), and hardiness scale (0.881). The statistical analysis technique used in this study is a multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16 for Windows. The result of this study shows a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that there is a positive corellation between social support and hardiness on subjective well-being. The effective contributions of social support and hardiness to subjective well-being is 64.9%. There is a positive corellation of social support on subjective well-being. The effective contribution of it is 1.7%. There is also a positive correlation of hardiness on subjective well-being. The effective contribution of it is 63.3%.
