Abstract

This research aims to (1) Produce transverse wave and longitudinal wave trainer with audiobook tactual and audio as a science learning media (Physics) for visually impaired student, (2) Knowing the quality of the props of transverse waves and longitudinal waves accompanied by an audiobook that is tactual and audio based on the judgment of media expert and material expert. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research. Development is carried out by referring to the procedural model. This development research procedure is based on the 4-D model which includes 4 steps, namely (1) Define (2) Design (3) Develop (4) Disseminate. Research is limited to the Develop stage on product quality assessment. The data analysis used quantitative and qualitative data. The research instrument was a validation sheet and an assessment sheet for the quality of teaching aids accompanied by an audiobook. Assessment of the quality of the props for transverse waves and longitudinal waves accompanied by audiobooks using a Likert scale with a scale of 4. The results of this development research is 1) The transverse wave and longitudinal wave props with audiobook tactual and audio as science learning media (Physics), 2) Quality of the transverse and longitudinal wave props accompained by an audiobook that is tactual and audio based on judgment of media expert and material expert. Quality of the props developed is classified as Very Good based on the judgment of media expert and material expert with an average score of 3,56 and 3,57. Meanwhile the quality of the developed audiobook obtained a Good classification on the judgment of media expert and material expert with an average score 3,00 and 3,00.
