Abstract

Murabaha financing in practice must be in accordance with sharia principles. In principle, at the same time Islamic financial institutions have two roles at once, namely as a buyer and at the same time a seller. Ideally as a buyer of Islamic financial institutions should play an active role in making offers about nett prices to PT. PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta. However, the practice of murabaha that occurred at PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta is not in line with sharia principles. There is no involvement of Islamic financial institutions in the procedure for offering prices (obtaining discounted prices) and handing over vehicles. Another thing that does not follow sharia principles is down payments that should be paid directly to Islamic financial institutions. The problem studied in this study is how the procedures, implementation and factors that influence consumer decisions to choose murabahah products in Islamic financial institutions. The purpose of this study is to describe the procedures, implementation of murabahah financing and to find out what factors influence consumer decisions to determine murabahah financing at PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta with consumers of Islamic financial institutions. The researcher uses the type of field research (field research) which is descriptive in nature using primary data and secondary data. In addition, the data collection methods in this study used interviews, documentation and qualitative descriptive data analysis methods. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the muarabah financing procedure at PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta that consumers play an active role in price negotiations, so that price discounts are fully the rights of consumers. In the implementation of the murabahah contract at PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta in the process does not use a murabahah al-wakalah contract, because what happens is that the consumer directly goes to PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta after making a price agreement, then the consumer determines the choice of financing which is assisted by PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta in determining the desired Islamic financial institution. The factors that influence consumers to choose murabahah financing at PT. Borobudur Oto Mobil Yogyakarta is free from usury, needs, relationships and experiences, geography and consumer beliefs and attitudes. Of all the supporting factors, there are inhibiting factors that make the voters of Islamic financial institutions at PT. Borobudur Auto Mobil Yogyakarta is very low.
