Abstract

Online learning is the problems for students with disabilities. Family support is one of the related things to the learning motivation of students with disabilities. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and learning motivation of students with disabilities in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The dependent variable (Y) in this study is learning motivation, and the independent variable (X) is family support. The research subjects were 42 students with disabilities at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. The method used is correlational quantitative research. Data analysis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique on SPSS software version 20. The calculation results show the correlation coefficient (Pearson Correlation) of the two variables is 0.282. This research hypothesis is rejected because the calculated r value is smaller than r table (r table for 5% significance level is 0.304). This means that there is no positive relationship between family support and learning motivation of students with disabilities in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The result of R2 = 0.080, which means that the effective contribution of family support to learning motivation is only 8%, and the rest is influenced by other factors such as self efficacy, the desire to succeed, hopes, aspirations, emosional quotient (EQ), peer social support, lecture social support, learning facilities, and accessibility of students with disabilities.
