Abstract

Unwanted pregnancy is a phenomenon that often occurs among teenagers. The factors that cause adolescents to experience adverse events can vary, including lack of knowledge about reproductive health for adolescents and also technological sophistication that can lead adolescents to negative behaviors including accessing pornographic content. Unwanted pregnancy is viewed negatively by the majority of Indonesian people, people think unwanted pregnancy women have violated social norms and values in people's lives. So that unwanted pregnancy women should get rehabilitation for their survival. BPRSW Yogyakarta, accommodates unwanted pregnancy victims who are referred from the regions to then get rehabilitation services in order to restore self-esteem, self-confidence and social responsibility. Therefore, this thesis aims to reveal how the rehabilitation process carried out by BPRSW for unwanted pregnancy women and the social reintegration of victims after rehabilitation in BPRSW. The theoretical framework used is the theory of social reintegration which emphasizes the process of unifying the victim with the community. This study uses a qualitative method as an effort to clearly and systematically describe the impact of adverse events on the lives of victims in the community after receiving the rehabilitation service process at BPRSW. The data collection technique was carried out using observations and interviews involving four informants from the BPRSW, three informants from the sample group of unwanted pregnancy victims and two informants from the community sample group. The results of the study indicate that the rehabilitation process carried out by BPRSW for victims of unwanted pregnancy is in several stages including; First, the assessment stage is carried out by building report cards. Second, the stage of psychosocial therapy by educating the victim about self-control, teaching relaxation and motivation. Third, the guidance activity stage, the guidance activities at BPRSW include: physical, mental, spiritual, social and skills guidance. The four stages of resocialization, provide guidance on readiness and participation in society. Fifth, the advanced guidance stage, carried out by improving people's lives, business monitoring guidance and monitoring the use of stimulant assistance. Meanwhile, in social reintegration of the victim in the community, the victim tries to always have a positive attitude and behavior in order to restore public trust in him. However, these efforts are often hampered because the community still labels the victims. So this affects the lives of victims in society. This thesis contributes to the academic discussion on WRSP's post-rehabilitation social reintegration.
