Abstract

This research aims to (1) produce an electroscope props with sound output and an experimental guide as a learning medium on the subject static electricity for blind students in IX grade at MTs LB/A Yaketunis Yogyakarta (2) determine the quality of the electroscope props with sound output and experimental guidance that have been developed (3) Knowing student responses and the implementation of electroscope props with sound output and experimental guidance.This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research with a procedural model. This research development procedure is based on a 4D model which includes 4 stage, they are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was carried out until the Develop stage at the Initial Testing stage. The research instruments were validation sheets, product validation sheets, assessments, student response sheets, and implementation sheets. Product quality assessment uses a Likert scale 4 in the form of a checklist. Student responses and implementation used the Guttman scale in the form of a checklist.The results of this research are an electroscope pros based on LDR sensor with sound output and a guidance experiment on electrostatic subject for IX grade students at MTs Yaketunis Yogyakarta. The quality of teaching aids and experiment guidance based on the assessments of experts, media experts, and science teachers obtained very good quality (SB) with an average score of 3.56, respectively; 3.49; and 3.93. The student's response to the electroscope props and experiment guidance in initial testing is agree (S) with an average score of 0.98. The implementation test is based on the observation of the observer that students can use a measuring instrument independently with a percentage of implementation using the interjudgment agreement (IJA) of 100%.
