Abstract

This research is the development of psychomotor assessment instruments in physics practicum. This study aims to 1) develop psychomotor assessment instruments to assess science process skills and students' self-efficacy; 2) determine the quality of the instrument based on validation and assessment by material experts, evaluations, and physics teachers, and 3) determine the feasibility of the instrument in the form of practicum performance observation sheets, self-assessment sheets, and peer assessments based on responses. This study uses the Research and Development method developed by Thiagarajan in the form of 4D (define, design, development, and disseminate) limited to disseminate in the form of instrument distribution in MAN 3 Bantul. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a rating scale and the Guttman scale for assessment sheets and responses. The research instruments were in the form of product validation sheets, item assessment sheets, and response sheets. Product validation using V-Aiken with valid results and item validation using the Pearson Product Moment correlation coefficient and item reliability using Cronbach Alpha values with valid and reliable results for all items. The feasibility assessment uses the Guttman scale with the answer options "Yes" and "No". The research results include: 1) psychomotor assessment instruments have been produced to assess science process skills and students' self-efficacy; 2) the quality of the instrument and item items based on the validation and expert assessment obtained a high category; and 3) user responses from physics teachers and students of class XI MIPA 2 indicate the average agree that the instrument is appropriate to use.
