Abstract

This study is an attempt to determine the concept of moral education for children in the book Washoya Al Aba' Lil Abnaa' by Muhammad Syakir. This study contains moral guidance that must be practiced and its many benefits in everyday life for a child. This research focuses on the concept of moral education and its relevance to moral education in the modern era. This is motivated by the fact that the lack of commendable moral values of a child. Therefore, there is a need for a study of moral education which is considered an effort to overcome this problem. This research is a library research. By using a deductive and inductive approach. The data sources in this study are divided into two primary and secondary. Analyze data using content analysis method to analyze data. The purpose of this paper is to show the importance of moral education for children so that a child can behave with noble morals and have knowledge that benefits many of His beings. The results of this study includes: (1) Moral education for children by being divided into two important aspects, namely the divine aspect (taqwa, patience, gratitude and sincerity) in this case researchers only reveal aspects of taqwa because taqwa becomes the main foundation. In it already represents other aspects and provides an understanding of the Oneness of God and the existence of man with his creation and insaniyah (morality towards parents, teachers, friends and society) (2) strategy of planting morals for children in this case there are six points that have a very important meaning in the efforts to foster the morality of the child, because stategi is one of the ways used by educators in providing knowledge and forming and fostering the morality of children in the form of giving advice, civility, habituation of dialogue, stories and targhib wa tarhib.
