Abstract
User interface and user experience are factors that are considered to role in success of software system. Both have related functions. Therefore, purpose of this study is to compare these two factors from point of view of user's perception of the software system. The research was conducted at UNY and UIN Sunan Kalijaga campuses. The approach used in this research is inferential quantitative by choosing UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) as the instrument. Data analysis used equivalence test, paired t test and Wilcoxon test. The result of equivalence test is that majority of users perceive that user interface with user experience for all criteria and sub-criteria is equivalent and not different except for enjoyable sub-criteria on both campuses and pleasant sub-criteria on UNY. The result of paired t-test is that majority of users perceive that user interface with user experience for all criteria and sub-criteria values is no different except for enjoyable sub-criteria on both campuses and pleasant sub-criteria on UNY. The result of the Wilcoxon test is that majority of users perceive that user interface with the user experience for all criteria and sub-criteria has no different value except for enjoyable sub- criteria on both campuses and pleasant sub-criteria on UNY.
