Abstract

Impact The global spread of the corona virus has paralyzed various government sectors including educational institutions, learning is also carried out online by utilizing technology. Several learning methods are used as a medium for delivering learning materials to students. Teachers are required to innovate online learning to generate motivation, so that students do not experience boredom in online learning. Creating various methods that are appropriate to the learning material is important, in order to help students, understand the content and lessons clearly. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of the learning method in the form of short videos. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach emphasizing the development of learning methods in the form of short videos of SKI subjects for the Isra 'Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad saw. Data obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The research subjects were students of class IV C MI Hidayatul Qur'an Manisrenggo. The results of this study indicate that the development of learning methods in the form of short videos presented has been successfully developed based on the process of interaction between researchers and students. The process of developing this learning method using the ADDIE model. Which consists of 5 stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In addition there is also a validation stage. The validation results from various aspects of the assessment have shown a very decent value. The results of the trial stated that the results of the questionnaire conducted stated that the short video with presentation details of 80% - 87% means that the video is very feasible and can increase learning motivation while the absorption of students increases, with details of the pretest and post-test scores increasing significantly from the average pretest 46, 32 to 76, 68. This has increased by 30, 36, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the absorption of students' understanding in the use of learning methods in the form of short videos of SKI on the Isra' Mikraj of the Prophet Muhammad saw in class IV C MI Hidayatul Qur 'an Manisrenggo.
