Abstract

Education is basically preparing students to be able to open the eyes of the heart to be able to live, develop a meaningful life, and glorify life with depth. In Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System Articles 4 and 5, it is stated that it is necessary to develop the education process as a process of civilizing and empowering. Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System explains that Indonesian education must be able to ensure equal distribution of educational opportunities, improve quality as well as relevance and efficiency management of education. Furthermore, Article 4 paragraph 1 explains that it is held in a democratic and fair manner and is not discriminatory by upholding human rights, religious values, and national pluralism. Implementation of Gender Equality in Early Childhood Education aims to: 1) How to apply gender to children of Kindergarten age Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV (ABA 4) Jambi City, 2) What is the impact of gender implementation on early childhood education Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV (ABA) 4) Jamb City, 3) How is the effectiveness of the application of gender in early childhood education in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV (ABA 4) Jambi City. Qualitative descriptive research method, Research Subjects are people who can provide information about the object of research or what is called a key person which means the source of information for the Principal and all Teachers at Kindergarten Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV. The object of this research is the implementation of gender equality in childhood education. Early Childhood Education in TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV (ABA 4) Jambi City by collecting interview data, observation, and documentation. The results of the implementation of Gender equality for children The implementation of gender equality in Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV (ABA 4) Kindergarten is defined as differences in the nature, roles, functions and statuses between men and women not based on biological differences, but based on sociocultural relations that influenced by the broader structure of society. What is in accordance with the vision and mission at Tk Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal IV is the creation of early childhood according to the teachings of the Qur'an and hadith and can develop all the potential of children according to their level of development. Gender equality can also mean the existence of equal conditions for men and women in obtaining opportunities and their rights as human beings, so that they are able to play a role and participate in politicalactivities, economic law, socio-culture, education and national defense and security (hankamnas) and equality in enjoying the results of development.
