Abstract

One traditional pesantren whose analytical research in applying knowledge management is the Lirboyo Islamic boarding school that will be focused on Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in for Aliyah stage. Taking the research location because it has not yet optimally the use of class governance technology by Mustahiq is one of its own problems. This study tried to analyze the first The need for the Application of knowledge management in Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Lirboyo Islamic boarding school, the two applications of knowledge management in Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in the Lirboyo Islamic boarding school, and the three the challenge faced by the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in the implementation of Knowledge Management at Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Lirboyo Islamic boarding school. This study uses a type of qualitative with descriptive design. The collection method used is observation, structured interviews and documentation of activities that are concerned with research. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and data verification. While the validity test that researchers use is triangulation. The results of the study explained that, the first The use of technology in the storage and management of the results of knowledge sharing activities needs to be done more massively through the application of knowledge management. Second, the model of implementing the Knowledge Management at the Aliyah level at Madrasah Hidayatul Mubtadi'in Islamic Boarding School Lirboyo indirectly still has several aspects that need to be considered, especially in terms of increasing technology utilization. While in the implementation of knowledge sharing can be divided into two, namely santri and Mustahiq. For the distribution of knowledge from the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School to the public with the use of information through social media and website as a whole has been carried out with collaboration between the autonomous agency that has a Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School Third, the challenges faced by the Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in implementing KM, namely the lack of SDM ability to use and develop technology. The response shown in the face of existing challenges is by establishing cooperation with outside parties competent in the field of technology to develop an application-based database named Symphony. But in the implementation of learning still uses traditional pesantren methods.
