Abstract

This research is entitled 'Library Services in the New Normal Era at the Gunungkidul Regency Library and Archives Service'. The purpose of this study is to determine library services in facing the new normal era at the Gunungkidul Regency Library and Archives Service. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. Qualitative research is research that intends to understand what phenomena are experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, action and others holistically and by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in a special context that is natural and using various natural methods. The data is obtained from observations, interviews with informants, and documentation at the Gunungkidul Regency Library and Archives Service regarding library services in the face of the new normal era. The results of this study indicate that library services at the Gunungkidul Regency Library and Archives Service based on the IFLA Guideline have 26 of 31 sub-indicators available in library services. Meanwhile, based on the ALIA Guideline there are 34 out of 46 sub-indicators contained in library services. Therefore, it can be concluded that library services at the Gunungkidul Regency Library and Archives Service have complied with most of the IFLA and ALIA Guidelines.
