Abstract

Before Covid-19 hit, teaching and learning activities were carried out face-to-face. With face-to-face, students and teachers can directly ask question and answer sessions, so that in this way, students' understanding of the material presented by the teacher is easier to understand. Unlike the current conditions. To minimize the spread of Covid-19, teaching and learning activities at all levels of education are carried out online or distance learning. This method is considered effective in reducing the number of spreads, but the concept of the material presented is not fully understood by students or misconceptions or misconceptions occur. This study aims to determine the percentage of misconceptions and to find out the sub-concepts that experience the most misconceptions in the material organizational system of life. The sampling method used saturated sampling technique with a total sample of 123 respondents. The research instrument was in the form of multiple choice questions accompanied by a CRI scale. The results showed that 26.56% of students understood the concept, 13.12% of students had misconceptions, and 60.22% of students did not understand the concept. The sub-concepts that experience the most misconceptions are the sub-concepts of tissue characteristics and the characteristics of organs and organ systems.
