Abstract

Textbooks are one of the important components in instilling the values of religious moderation in students. This research was conducted to: 1) determine the values of religious moderation in thematic textbooks for fourth grade students, themes 7, 2013 curriculum; 2) knowing the ideal conception of religious moderation values in thematic textbooks for fourth grade students, themes 7, 2013 curriculum. This type of research is a qualitative research that is literature study. Literature research is research that collects data through materials contained in the library. The library in question is in the form of books, articles, or journals, and several articles that are relevant to the discussion in this study. The research method used in this study is the method of content analysis or also called the method of content analysis. The results of the study indicate that there are values of religious moderation and indicators of religious moderation in the thematic books of class IV students, themes 7, among others: tasamuh values; tawazun value; i'tidal value; accommodation indicators of local culture; anti-violence indicator; indicators of national commitment; and tolerance indicators. Based on this, in the thematic book of class IV students, themes 7, there are values of religious moderation so that it is feasible to use. In addition, the book contains values that need to be added and developed (ideal conceptions of religious moderation values), namely: the value of musawa; shura value; ishlah value; the value of tathawur wa ibtikar; and the value of tahhadhdhur. These values need to be added in the form of examples of positive behavior in reading texts in the thematic books for fourth grade students, themes 7, 2013 curriculum
